Salary – £20,000 to £25,000 + Company Incentive Scheme + Excellent Benefits Package

Background/Role Overview

Scania has been investing heavily in its Unified Communications solutions and has even more plans for growth. With the increasing digitalisation of Scania’s IT estate, we have an exciting opportunity for a someone who is looking for a role in a developing as well as exciting area of IT and Telecommunications. As the administrator you will be responsible for administrating Scania’s IP telephony system, monitoring and managing mobile billing, and resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner. This is a great opportunity for someone who has excellent customer service skills, a passion for IT and willingness to learn and develop with the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call and incident management & responding to customers using our LANDesk call logging system
  • Ensuring SLA targets are met
  • Administrating the company’s Horizon telephone portal
  • Accurate and diligent data entry into the company mobile billing system (OBM)
  • Ordering telephony related hardware via service portal, email & telephone
  • Keeping customers informed and up-to-date on service and incident status
  • Administration and support with the Video Conference estate (BlueJeans) and meeting room technology support.
  • Provisioning of mobile services, acting as a key point of contact between the business and suppliers for telephony, mobile & VC Services.
  • Supporting and administrating the Condeco room booking system
  • Reporting and statistical support for the business.
  • Analysis of incidents with the aim of identifying trends to improve performance of systems for the business.

Skills Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce and maintain high quality support documentation
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

Essential Experience

  • Experience of working with desktop PC’s including hardware and software
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in a high-demand, customer focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
