Connected Services Administrator

£19,000 – £21,000 per annum + bonus

Monday to Friday, 08:45-17:00

We have an exciting opportunity for a Connected Services Administrator to join the team. Based in our brand new  state of the art offices you will be the main point of contact for Customers and Dealers.  You will primarily provide Sales and Customer Service Support (including administration) for Scania Optimise Services.

Connected Services Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provide management administration support to the department managers
  • Administer telematics and training products as required.
  • Liaise with departmental suppliers on day to day issues
  • Provide monthly reporting to management, dealers and customers
  • Issue purchase order numbers following the department process
  • Prepare written quotations as required and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Process data as required using the most relevant system.
  • Create journal entries & raise invoices as required.
  • Book hotels, training venues and hire cars in support of departmental activities
  • Assist with customer queries
  • Provide cover on the sales desk for lunch breaks, holiday periods, training cover and periods of absence
  • Any other duties in line with the job scope

Key requirements for the role:

  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Proven administration role/skills
  • Good Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of basic selling techniques and closing a sale.
  • Self-starter with drive and enthusiasm
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Packages (Excel and advantage)
  • Good numeracy and financial understanding
  • Preferably an understanding of the HGV industry
  • Sales experience and customer service
