Retail Order Administrator

£24,000 to £28,500 + Company Success Scheme + Excellent Benefits Package

Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Order Administrator in the Chassis Logistics department.

Based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes you will be responsible for  the processing of new chassis orders, and other associated activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of new chassis orders.
  • Answer and respond to associated factory communications.
  • Assist Dealer Sales Admin with any order ‘special requirements’ or changes.
  • Communicate any factory requirements to the dealer.
  • Generate and maintain associated records.
  • Help and advise Dealer Sales Admin regarding basic sales systems procedures and protocol.
  • Jointly maintain and administer the paint sample stock.
  • Jointly assist with chassis invoicing as required.
  • Other general admin duties.

Key requirements for the role:

  • Basic knowledge of the Scania product and heavy truck industry.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • AS400 experience.
  • Ability to use various online sales support systems.
  • Sales admin experience at a regional/branch/department level preferable.
